“The Ship of Theseus” challenges conventional design practices by harnessing the aesthetic potential of discarded objects — used plastic thread spools and threaded rods. The modular installation repurposes these items to produce playful architectural scenarios that embrace a circular-economy approach, resisting a prevailing culture of waste.

Responding to the curatorial theme, the project demonstrates the versatility and infinite potential of embracing material constraints, building a form of design laboratory that questions the intrinsic value of unwanted objects.

Beyond the exhibition, a part of the work will be donated to a local art school, fostering continued community engagement in sustainable practice. Collaborative workshops will encourage participants to create new forms using upcycled materials, ushering a gentle shift towards environmentally conscious practices in the design and construction industry.
