The second edition of the Sharjah Architecture Triennial honours practices that engage creatively with scarcity. It is appropriate to launch this edition with an expansive dialogue that honours practitioners who have explored meaningful ways of both practising and analysing
architecture and have been able to work within imposed constraints in their respective contexts to facilitate creative processes and outcomes, as well as dispose of canonical approaches to architecture.
